Skcin has partnered with Map My Mole to provide MASCED PRO–accredited professionals with a unique opportunity to enhance their service offering through a digital mole review service, available with an exclusive discount on setup costs.
Through Map My Mole’s easy-to-use mobile app, your patients get access to UK consultant dermatologists for an opinion within 48 hours on their skin lesions and moles.
If your clinic provides a lesion removal service, removing them without dermatological review can put your patients at risk!
Map My Mole ensures every lesion is reviewed by a consultant before removal—a safer process that protects patients and your clinic’s reputation.
By becoming a service provider, we give you the tools to deliver expert-assessed mole reviews to your patients.
Register for a clinic account on the Map My Mole app. We’ll review your application, and if approved, you’ll pay a one-time setup fee, which includes a DE-300 dermatoscope. If you already own a dermatoscope, you can skip the lens purchase and just pay a small set up fee for your account. See below for your exclusive disount code in partnership with Skcin.
Whilst in training mode, the app will guide you through the process of making test submissions and we’ll provide feedback on image quality only. Please note test submissions are not reviewed by a consultant dermatologist. After successfully completing these, you’ll be able to offer the service to patients.
You’ll be able to order free point of sale materials through the app. We give you the flexibility to market your mole review service as you wish.

Most people cannot afford private Dermatology fees, ranging from £175 to £300, and getting to see a GP takes time and often results in a referral to a specialist. The time from start to finish for a patient can be weeks, for some patients this is an anxious wait, which is avoidable. Providing a mole screening service in a clinic with Map My Mole is aligned with the British Association of Dermatologists teledermatology guidelines. Images are reviewed by experts in the field, and reports generated ensure patients are explained as to what the lesion represents. If a concerning mole is imaged the dermatologist will inform the patient providing them with a report that can be sent to their GP to speed up any referral.
Clinics interested in offering a mole screening service should consider purchasing a robust dermoscope. This will offer the best possible images for our consultants to review, reducing requests for repeat image capture.
The DE-300 clips to virtually any smartphone or tablet to capture high quality medical grade images. Polarised and non-polarised LEDs allow for subsurface skin structures to be visualised. Ideal for busy clinics. £199 if purchased during account signup. If you already own a dermatoscope, you can skip the purchase and just pay a £99 set up fee for your account.
